Secret Garden Birthday

Happy Tuesday everyone. Today I wanted to try my hand at making a triple layer card. The cardstock I used is Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White from Stampin' Up! The stamps I used are also from Stampin' Up! They are from the Secret Garden set and the Watercolor Trio set. I made my own twine by wrapping white twine around a ruler and coloring stripes with my Rich Razzleberry marker. I learned to do this from a tutorial on Pinterest by The Frugal Crafter. I know I will be doing more of these cards, because there are so many colors and floral stamps to change it up. I got the triple layer card idea from dostamping.typepad .com. Thanks to Dawn Olchefske!

Happy Stamping!

Good Tidings

Happy Wednesday stampers. I am back again using the  "In The Meadow" die kit from Papertrey Ink. For todays card, I used the deer set. The design paper is the "handmade Holiday" by Simple Stories and  the tree cardstock is from Basic Grey. I could not find the name of the paper and I do apologize!  I want to find out the name so I can order more. I love those trees! I used Ruby Red solid card stock from Stampin' Up! as my background paper. I punched out my snowflakes and added some pearls.

Happy stamping,
Judy

Dashing Through The Snow

Welcome stampers. I hope you enjoyed your weekend. We had a beautiful weekend here in southwest Florida. I have neglected my blog since arriving here the end of October. I sure miss my scrapbook room in Missouri. I have very little room here in our Fifth Wheel to work. I do have some great friends here to do cards and other paper projects with!

For today's card, I pulled out my Papertrey Ink die cut and stamp set,"In The Meadow". I do love this set. The cardstock I used is "handmade Holidays" from the Simple Stories products. For the open sleigh I used Chocolate Chip card stock from Stampin' Up! I ran the front of the card through my Cuttlebug using a snowflake folder from Darcie. I punched out some snowflakes, adhered some pearls and fly specked the snow on with a toothbrush using  "Snow (Titanium) White" acrylic paint from  DecoArt.

Happy Stamping !

Fall Wreath

Happy Friday to you. Fall has arrived here in mid-Missouri. I had seen a wreath on a blog a couple of years ago using a maple leaf stamp. I couldn' t find it again, so I am going to wing it. I pulled a stamp set, "Autumn Days" from Stampin' Up! I needed a template to make my wreath round, so I ran some cardstock through my Cuttlebug using my Spellbinders large circle die. I set the inner circle aside to use at a later date. I used the cut out for a template. I placed the template over my Very Vanilla card stock from St.Up! and alternated the leaf color by using More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, and Elegant Eggplant  ink from Stampin"Up! I then went around the leaves with my Chocolate Chip marker, making sqiggly lines to make it look like a grapevine wreath. I attached a Always Artichoke bow to finish it off.

Supplies used:
Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 5 1/4 x 10 1/2 and scored at 5 1/4.
Always Artichoke Cardstock run through Cuttlebug using my Lattice embossing folder.
Cajun Craze cardstock.
Very Vanilla cardstock.
Ink pads in colors mentioned above and marker all from Stampin' Up!
Always Artichoke seam binding also from Stampin' Up!

I hope you have a great day and come back soon.

Warmest Wishes

Good Wednesday to you. I had a nice visit with my family this past weekend. I had too much birthday cake and my sister's great chicken 'n dumplins'! I got to spoil my great-niece and great-nephew who are 5 and 1. Both have birthdays seven days apart, so we celebrated with two birthday parties, which always includes homemade ice cream. It's a good thing I live four hours away.

For today's card I pulled my "Scentsational Season" stamp and die combo from Stampin' Up! I cut the candy cane down to fit the mug. I love this set and will use it alot.

Supplies I used:

Card base is Very Vanilla from S.Up!, cut to make a 5 x 5 card.
Kraft cardstock from Hobby Lobby and Ruby Slipper solid cardstock from Bazzille.
"A Heartwarming Holiday" pattern packet from Paper Studio, purchased at Hobby Lobby.
The "Warmest Wishes" sentiment is from There She Goes stamps.
Nestibilities large round circles and small scallops circles.
Stampin' Up! word window and modern label punch.
Cherry cobbler and Close to Cocoa  stamp pads from S.Up!
Cherry Cobbler ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy stamping!

Paper Rose

Happy Tuesday. Today I tried something different for me. I have stamped on tissue before, but I thought I would try to use the tissue to give some dimension to a flower. I chose this rose stamp.

I stamped the rose on to white cardstock. I then stamped four roses on to white tissue paper. I  colored the rose on the cardstock. I then colored  each of the roses on the tissue. Are you with me? I then cut the first rose out of the tissue. Then cut another one but cutting smaller following the pattern of the rose. Each time I cut a smaller layer. I did the same with the rosebud. I crunched each layer up and opened it back up.I then glued each  tissue, layer by layer to the rose on the card stock.

Supplies used on this card:

Base of card is Rose Red solid card stock from S.Up!
Rose Red designer paper from S.Up!
White card stock
"Rose Stem" stamp from Inkadinkado
Sentiment is from the stamp set "Watercolor Trio" from S.Up!
Large circle and large circle scallop for "Spellbinder's" nestibilities
Oval and scallop oval punch from S.Up!
Large scallop border die from " My Favorite Things".
White pearls.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find time to stamp today!
